WTF (Kukki) style Taekwondo

Has anyone had a go at WTF style TKD? not just the sparring, but learning the art proper.
We've had a student who has previously practiced WTF TKD and I was curious if anyone else out there has?
Also, what do you all think of the WTF style? I wasn't so fond of it but I've been reading through the Kukkiwon textbook and apart from the movements having different names and the odd different stance, it is pretty much the same as ITF Tae Kwon-Do.
