Agreed!!
I assume (and am hoping) it's gonna be updated on a regular basis from now on?
Re: New website.
It was never good clicking on the 'News' tab and the most recent items were from 2004!
Re: New website.
yes it will be updated much more regularly, as soon as I get information from the committee it will go on the internet. I'm also working on adding some other features in the next couple of month.
Competition Results
Is there going to be a section detailing competition results?

Re: New website.
Yes - as results happen from national competitions they will be displayed on the site, in the news section.
New Website
Hi there!
I definately think the TAGB deserved this new website! It will take a while to find where everything is again, but it looks nicer. I was thinking though that the gray on brown is quite difficult to read, especially for dyslexic people. Should we contact the admin here to upload a school's website? I know I am going on a bit here, just giving my 2 cent, thought it would be nice to upload regional tournaments too? Is there any reason why they are not on the website?
Well done and the hard work!
Michele
Ps: there used to be a TAGB thread on www.martialartsplanet.com, I might post that this is now here!

Re: New website.
At the moment I am only supplied the results of national competitions. If you want to see regional results also you would need to suggest it to your Area representative directly or go through your instructor. There are so many regional competitions so I think that is why it is only national ones that are listed. I can see your point about the colours but regardless of which colours were used there would be someone with some kind of condition that it would affect! It was originally smaller than it is now, which i thought looked more professional but I increased the font based on feedback. Glad you like it generally though and letting as many people as possible know about the new forum should result in it thriving with threads and discussions!

Re: New website.
It must be great to have such good feedback from everyone! I agree there are too many for results, i thought just in events so we can at least go to them. I never knew there were so many until i started really looking into it! can't wait to start lots of discussions on sparring, comps etc...!
Re: New website.
hey, I was just writing my website, and went onto this one to get a basic explanation of what Tae Kwon Do is. I just realised that there isn't really anything that explains what our style is without having to read through the history etc... What would be the best way to describe tae Kwon Do?
I put "Tae Kwon Do literally means "foot fist art" or "the way of the hand and foot" and comes from Korea. It is predominently a striking art, famous for its kicking. " but i feel that it doesn't do us justice!
any ideas?

Re: New website.
post a few videos on your site of patterns, linework, setsparring, freesparring! Videos say much more than words!

Hi Everyone
My name is Darren and i am a member of the East Grinstead TAGB, studying under Mr Karl James and Mrs Ruth James. Delighted to see a dedicated TAGB forum, i'm a regular visitor to the Martial Edge forum, but like the idea of talking to people who hopefully share my enthusiasm for what we do.

Hi Darren, I train with Karl's dad Mr Ken James and know Karl and Ruth very well. There is also Martial Arts Planet which is a huge forum with a TAGB thread on it. You might want to have a look at that too?
Re: New website.
Glad we now have a dedicated forum! Website looks a lot better and up to date as well! More to do with competitions would be good.

Hi, just wanted to say a big congrats on the new website - I know only too well how hard it is getting a site like this off the ground! You'll save me a deal of work in the future now - I can just add links to here instead! Phew!
Well done to all concerned - a huge improvement, good luck with keeping it up to date!
